You're absolutely right, but it didn't have to be status updates. It could have been figuring out how to change a colour of something, or how to add a photo that fades away, or anything. It was just the process of figuring out something that was interesting.

I actually do have some spare time these days. Once the kids are in bed at 8pm I'm generally too tired to do anything (exercise, work on the canoe), so now I either read or dick around with the computer.

Digger, I read the first and last paragraph of this post. I think it is one of the funniest ones ever, but I don't think there was any intention of it. What amazes me is that you have so little free time and this is the crap you fill it with.
